How it works 

Design & Build


Your first meeting will be with Daniel Armstrong from DAA Associates who will meet to discuss your plans before coming up with a brief that meets your design ideas, including materials and budget.

Once you are happy with the design idea, DAA will draw up existing elevations and floor plans before working on a creative design  that will encompass Dan's knowledge and expertise.  He has good working relationships with local suppliers and will find the right building materials that fit well with your design.

Dan's reputation for first approval with planners is excellent and it is rare for planning to be turned away on submission.

Once the planning is approved a specification is drawn up highlighting structural finishes, internals and fittings.

Dan has established relationships over the years with locally sourced suppliers and trades, these are key to ensuring quality of workmanship and good work practices.

It is at this point that a guaranteed maximum price is established, a timeline/project plan drawn up and a start date agreed.

LRD Associates will manage the site from the first date to handover. Health and Safety for the site is set up and we ensure that all contractors comply with the regulations throughout the project. 


We manage the budget for the project and order all materials for delivery to site. LRD will hold all responsibility for works on site and work with contractors to make it run as smoothly as possible. 

Once completed keys will be handed back and you will have 6 months for any snagging issues.

Build and Project Manage

If you already have planning approved and wish for LRD Associates to quote for the works then please get in touch and we will organsie a site visit and put together a quote based on specification of works provided by you or we can put this together for you. Once you are happy with our guaranteed maximum price, we will agree a start date and provide a timeline for the project.

We use experienced tradespeople only who we have worked with on past projects. 

LRD Associates will project manage the project from start to finish, including managing trades, budget and Health and Safety. 

Once completed keys will be handed back and you will have 6 months for any snagging issues.
